New from Wiedenmann – Terra V-Cut scarifier

With the Terra V-Cut, Wiedenmann is expanding its product range to include a scarifier for professional use on sports fields, golf courses and public green spaces. The attachment will be shown for the first time at Demopark 2025.

The machine aims to impress with its high area coverage, precise cuts and a particularly gentle working process. It is mounted on the rear pivot point of compact tractors. There are two versions with working widths of 150 cm and 200 cm.

The permanently mounted, star-shaped blades produce five clean cuts per revolution. They rotate in the direction of travel, first cutting open the sward and then efficiently discharging the felt to the rear. This process reduces the power requirement, saves fuel and at the same time protects the roots of the lawn.

The blades can be infinitely adjusted in depth without tools using two fine spindles on the side. The maximum working depth is 40 mm. This makes the Terra V-Cut suitable not only for removing thatch, but also for improving water permeability and promoting gas exchange in the soil. Regular scarifying is crucial for the health and playability of natural turf, especially when used intensively.

The robust construction and maintenance-friendly design stand for durability and easy handling. One option is the particularly hard-wearing Dura Blade blades with carbide tips for intensive continuous use. It is also possible to adapt the machine even better to the contours of the terrain with a wheel set that is bolted to the rear cross member. The narrow transport width of 175 or 225 cm facilitates relocation.

The new scarifier will celebrate its market premiere at Demopark 2025 at the Wiedenmann stand B-283.
