New Professional Scarifier in Action

Wiedenmann GmbH is launching a special promotion to mark the market debut of its new Terra V-Cut mounted scarifier.

The machine is designed for professional users in sports field maintenance, on golf courses, and in municipal green space management, and was first unveiled at Demopark. Customers benefit from introductory offers such as a 15 percent discount on the purchase of a Terra V-Cut through August 2026. The goal is to make it easier to adopt a particularly efficient and turf-friendly scarifying technology.

The Terra V-Cut was specifically designed for use on compact tractors with 16 kW or more and is available in working widths of 150 cm and 200 cm. A key feature is its operating principle, which utilizes fixed, star-shaped blades that make five precise cuts per revolution, spaced 30 mm apart. Rotation in the direction of travel first opens up the turf cleanly and then efficiently discharges the thatch to the rear. This process significantly reduces power requirements, lowers fuel consumption, and at the same time protects the lawn’s root zone. Especially on heavily used sports turf, regular scarifying contributes significantly to improving water absorption and gas exchange in the soil.

The working depth can be adjusted tool-free and continuously via side-mounted fine-tuning screws. A working depth of up to 40 mm allows for both the removal of lawn thatch and regenerative maintenance measures to improve the turf structure. For long service life in continuous use, Wiedenmann offers optional Dura Blade blades with carbide tips. Additionally, a retrofittable wheel set can further improve ground adaptation on uneven terrain.
